The Investment Team at Avigo has a cumulative experience of over 200 years in Private Equity, Investment/Corporate Banking, Consulting, and Operations. Our philosophy is to be the first institutional investor primarily providing growth capital to fast growing SME companies in the industrial sector in India. We have built up and demonstrated extensive on-the-ground expertise and experience in building businesses in the growth stage and handling various investment related issues.

Avigo has a prominent Advisory Board consisting of captains of Indian industry and nominees of lead investors that add value to the investment process. We have built up strong industry associations and institutional relationships within India and are one of the few Indian Fund Managers with a robust network in Europe, North America, Middle East and the Far East. We actively assist in corporatization of our investee companies and handhold them through their journey from niche SME players to fast-growing actively tracked companies. The team at Avigo provides strategic direction to its investee companies and assists in their organic and inorganic growth in Indian and international markets leveraging our global network and management expertise.

Avigo is currently investing its third Fund, The Avigo SME Fund III, which had its final closing in June 2010 at USD 240 million. Avigo has over USD 365 million under management and has successfully raised and invested two funds (The Avigo SME Fund I and the Avigo SME Fund II). We have established our credentials and demonstrated our differentiated investment strategy of supporting SME companies in their growth phase through more than 25 investments in over 15 companies. We have also achieved full or partial exits from 6 of these portfolio companies.
